Visitors of the seafront at Paignton, Torbay, allege they have been blitzed with costly fines because their motors don't fit within the white lines. They claim Torbay council are at fault, claiming the 'outdated' marking are too small for modern and newer cars. A sample image from Google shows vehicles often overhang the markings at the back as shuffling any further would see them colliding with the sea wall. They say the fault lies with the outdated markings that are too small for modern vehicles, warning other motorists about the recent flurry of fines. However the council have remained steadfast that they are 'dedicated to fairness' and signage, adding that vehicles should be parked within the markings....read
