Trump gives 'jilted' MTG a three-word nickname after her 60 Minutes meltdown as he threatens to sue CBS
President Donald Trump viciously insulted his ex-ally Marjorie Taylor Greene following her high-profile 60 Minutes interview on Sunday - a sit-down he is demanding the network apologize for.
'The only reason Marjorie “Traitor” Brown (Green turns Brown under stress!) went BAD is that she was JILTED by the President of the United States (Certainly not the first time she has been jilted!),' the president posted just before 9:30 am ET on Monday morning.
'Too much work, not enough time, and her ideas are, NOW, really BAD - She sort of reminds me of a Rotten Apple!'
Trump demanded that the network, which was just recently purchased by David Ellison, the son of Trump ally and Oracle founder Larry Ellison, apologize for interviewing Greene.
His demands come as Bari Weiss, the new boss of CBS News, has been making overtures to conservatives to balance the historically left-leaning broadcaster since Ellison's takeover.
In addition to interviewing Democratic heavyweights, like Hillary Clinton, the anti-woke Weiss has also facilitated coverage of Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu and conservative Erika Kirk, whom the network is hosting a town hall for this month.
'My real problem with the show, however, wasn’t the low IQ traitor, it was that the new ownership of 60 Minutes, Paramount, would allow a show like this to air,' Trump's lengthy criticism continued.
'THEY ARE NO BETTER THAN THE OLD OWNERSHIP, who just paid me millions of Dollars for FAKE REPORTING about your favorite President, ME!'

President Donald Trump ripped into 'jilted' Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene on Monday morning following her interview on CBS News' 60 Minutes over the weekend
Greene said 'it would shock people' to hear what Republicans were saying about Trump behind his back as recently as early 2024, claiming they quickly changed their tune after he secured the Republican nomination
Within an hour of the president's post, Greene responded, posting an image showing how Trump has taken $230 million from the pro-Israel political group AIPAC compared to her taking $0 from them.
'I AM AMERICA FIRST. Thank you for your attention to this matter. -MTG,' the congresswoman wrote in response to an official White House X account.
The president also appeared to threaten legal action against the legacy media brand.
'Since they bought it, 60 Minutes has actually gotten WORSE! Oh well, far worse things can happen,' Trump wrote.
'P.S. I hereby demand a complete and total APOLOGY, though far too late to be meaningful, from Lesley Stahl and 60 Minutes for her incorrect and Libelous statements about Hunter’s Laptop!!!' he added, noting the journalist's past comments downplaying the widely throttled story on the eve of the 2020 election.
During the 60 Minutes interview, the congresswoman accused many of her Republican colleagues of ridiculing the president behind his back.
'I watched many of my colleagues go from making fun of him, making fun of how he talks, making fun of me constantly for supporting him,' Greene said.
'When he won the primary in 2024, they all started - excuse my language, Lesley - kissing his a**, and decided to put on a MAGA hat for the first time.'
Greene told 60 Minutes that Trump's criticism of her sparked death threats against both her and her son, and that she flagged her concerns with the administration
Greene and Trump's high-profile feud came after the congresswoman turned more critical of parts of the president's agenda.
She vented frustrations about the president focusing more on foreign priorities than domestic issues and other concerns, like the GOP lacking a plan to address rising health care costs.
She lobbed these critiques while appearing on a string of more left-leaning outlets, like CNN and ABC's The View, likely leading to the president's growing frustration.
The spat hit a fever-pitch when the president said he would not back Greene for re-election.
Not wanting to enter into a primary battle against a future Trump-endorsed candidate, the congresswoman announced that she would retire early next year.
Greene shared in a four-page letter, accompanied by a 10-minute video address on social media, that after her fight with Trump and five years in Congress that she would leave the capital with one year remaining on her two-year term.
She cited a political cabal that works against the interests of everyday Americans and threats to her and her family's lives as reasons for stepping away.
Despite her retirement announcement, the president has not laid off his attacks, however.
'Marjorie is not AMERICA FIRST or MAGA, because nobody could have changed her views so fast, and her new views are those of a very dumb person,' Trump wrote on Monday.
Greene's office did not immediately respond to the Daily Mail's request for comment.

Stahl (lef) and Greene (right) went head to head during the interview over whether they have both perpetuated toxicity within politics
During the 60 Minutes interview, Greene sparred with veteran host Lesley Stahl.
Greene lamented the 'toxic political culture' she believes Trump has cultivated, before Stahl interjected to note: 'But you contributed to that. You. You, you were out there pounding, insulting people.'
She instantly hit back, telling Stahl 'Lesley you've contributed to it as well. You're accusatory, just like you did just then.'
'I know you're accusing me, but I'm smiling,' Stahl responded as the interview took a tense turn.
'You're accusing me,' Greene said, while offering a smile in return. 'But we don't have to accuse one another.'
During the bitter exchange, Stahl urged Greene 'to respond to what you have done in terms of insulting people, yelling at people.'
The congresswoman argued it should be Stahl 'responding to that.'
'I don't insult people,' Stahl said, to which Greene instantly countered: 'You do. The way you question. You're accusing me right now.'
