Trump insults Marjorie Taylor Greene as he gives her TWO of his trademark nicknames in extraordinary tirade against former ally

Donald Trump slapped Marjorie Taylor Greene with two of his trademark insulting nicknames as their war of words continued into a second day.

Trump posted on Truth Social shortly after Greene shared a measured statement of her own on Saturday morning, following their online screaming match Friday

In it, he branded the Georgia Representative as 'Marjorie Taylor Brown' adding: 'Green grass turns Brown when it begins to ROT!'.

In a follow up post, he also labelled her 'Marjorie Traitor Greene', after saying she 'betrayed the entire Republican Party when she turned Left.'

Trump added: 'Just another Fake politician, no different than Rand Paul Jr. (Thomas Massie), who got caught being a full fledged Republican In Name Only (RINO)! MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!!!'

The president announced on Friday that he was withdrawing his support of the former MAGA darling, saying she was 'a ranting lunatic.'

Greene fired back by sharing screenshots of texts she sent to Trump about the importance of the Epstein files, causing an all-out MAGA civil war.

She joins the likes of 'Sleepy Joe Biden', 'Crazy Hillary', 'Ron DeSanctimonious', and 'Lyin' Kamala Harris', who were all given their own nickname by Trump.

Prior to his put down of Greene on Saturday, she took to social media to offer her thanks to those who had reached out in support of her after the explosive events of the night before.

She said: 'I want to thank everyone who texted and posted and commented support for me, you all are so kind and I appreciate, love, and support you too.

'I never thought that fighting to release the Epstein files, defending women who were victims of rape, and fighting to expose the web of rich powerful elites would have caused this, but here we are. And it truly speaks for itself.

'There needs to be a new way forward. The toxic political industrial complex thrives on ripping us all apart but never delivers anything good for the American people, whom I love.

'The PIC tells us to hate each other, fundraises off why we have to hate each other, and pits Americans against each other to the point of violence and nearing civil war. This is all so wrong.

'We can have our own differences and differing opinions but we can still love and respect one another.

'We have far more in common than we have apart. I believe in the American people more than I believe in any leader or political party and the American people deserve so much better than how they have been treated by both sides of the aisle.

'The way forward is America First America Only. And that may be the most dangerous pursuit of all.'

Greene and Trump traded social media barbs on Friday, with Greene sharing screenshots of texts she sent to Trump about the Epstein files.

Trump kickstarted the spat - including an admission that he advised her not to run for Senate in 2026 - on Truth Social earlier that evening.

She advised him to 'lean in' to former President Bill Clinton's connections to the pedophile, Trump ordered an investigation into Clinton on Friday.

'Epstein was the spider that wove the web of the deep state. Lean into it,' she said.

In a second screenshot, Greene responded to a text from 'NH' that appeared to be fuming about her Trump criticisms, stating: 'THE JEFFREY EPSTEIN HOAX.'

Greene replied: 'In every single interview I have done I have defended President Trump.

'I've said over and over the women say he did nothing wrong and their attorney says he's the only one who helped.

'And the Democrats had 4 years to release the files but did nothing', NH is an apparent reference to the president's assistant Natalie Harp.

Greene adds: 'Stop ignoring the women. Many of them literally voted for President Trump and say so publicly. Them being raped as teenagers is not a hoax.'

In a lengthy statement on Friday, she said Trump was specifically gunning for her to scare other Republicans before next weeks vote to release the Epstein files.

She added: 'It’s astonishing really how hard he’s fighting to stop the Epstein files from coming out that he actually goes to this level.'

Greene said she had given Trump 'too much of my precious time, too much of my own money, and fought harder for him' when others abandoned him.

Donald Trump's biting nicknames

Donald Trump is known for targeting his opponents with nicknames. Here, the Daily Mail explore some of his most well-known takedowns.

'Sleepy Joe' or 'Crooked Joe'

Trump frequently touted the nickname due to Biden's age and then pivoted to depict Biden as a mastermind pulling the strings behind a justice system after Trump was hit with criminal indictments.

'Crooked Hillary'

The president frequently calls former First Lady and Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton crooked.

The name stemmed from a host of questions surrounding Clinton's involvement in Benghazi to email server controversies to her husband Bill Clinton's Oval Office antics.

'Pocahontas'

One of Trump's most iconic nicknames was the one he gave to Senator Elizabeth Warren, Pocahontas.

Warren self-identified that she had Native American heritage on applications to Harvard and the University of Pennsylvania.

But after being called out by Trump, she later released a DNA test in 2018 which revealed that she was only 1/512th Native American.

Trump publicly mocked her as Pocahontas earlier this year during a speech he gave to a joint session of Congress.

'Rocket Man'

Trump frequently labelled North Korean leader Kim Jong Un as 'Rocket Man' due to continued weapons system tests he conducted.

He first used the term in 2017 when he said the dictator was on a 'suicide mission for himself and for his regime,' as nuclear tensions escalated between the two nations.
