What 'Venus in Leo' means for your star sign: Astrologer shares love predictions for the coming months (and it's good news if you're a Taurus!)

An astrologer has revealed their romance predictions as the love planet Venus enters into Leo.  

Geraldine Santos, an astrologer and founder of Divinely Guided, said the merge will see love becoming it's boldest - with 'dramatic gestures, grand passions and sparkling chemistry' on the cards for all of the 12 signs.

From 25 August until 19 September, Venus will reside in Leo, which will affect the romantic lives of each of the signs in their own unique way.

Venus, which is the planet of connection, desire and relationships, is thought to represent principles of love, beauty, harmony and pleasure.

As it steps into fiery Leo - thought to represent expressive, ambitious and passionate individuals - people should expect to see grand gestures and bold action.

But according to Santos, while some signs will see blossoming romance and fireworks, others may find themselves tested powerful will of fiery Leo. 

With Venus transiting into Leo, it's only natural that the lion sign will be the one to feel it's powers most powerfully. 

Additionally, Leo's fellow fire signs - Aries and Sagittarius - will also feel the presence the planet's passage more than others, likely finding themselves subject to 'passion, bold moves and dramatic love stories', according to Santos.

Aries (March 21–April 19)

Santos urged Aries to 'get ready for fireworks', with Venus acting as a catalyst for love.

'Venus in Leo supercharges your love life bringing passion, playfulness and big romantic moves,' she said.

Meanwhile, 'sparks fly in new encounters while couples rediscover fun.'

Taurus (April 20–May 20)

The astrologer said that the Taurus's 'home and heart' will take centre stage in their romantic endeavours this month.  

'You crave stability but Venus in Leo nudges you out of routine,' she said. 

'A domestic shake-up or cosy makeover brings romance closer. Be flexible as love rewards openness.'

Gemini (May 21–June 20)

Words are important for Gemini this month, said Santos, who said that language and conversation will be at the forefront of their experience.

'Your words are pure magic,' she said. 'Flirty conversations, witty texts and chance encounters turn into something much deeper. Speak your truth as your voice is your love magnet now.'

Cancer (June 21–July 22)

For Cancer, self-worth will take the spotlight. 

'Venus highlights your values attracting admirers who see your nurturing side but also push you to shine,' Santos explained.

Additionally, for couples, having candid conversations about money 'may bond couples more tightly.'

Leo (July 23–August 22)

It being their sign, Leo will be the 'star' this season. As Venus enters the fiery sign, Leos will find themselves illuminated.

'You are the star,' Santos said. 'Venus in your sign makes you radiant, magnetic and impossible to ignore.'

Because of their glow, 'romance flows naturally', including existing connections which will see themselves 'sparkle again'. 

Though, she urged Leos to 'guard against ego clashes'. 

Virgo (August 23–September 22)

'Venus stirs your private world,' the astrologer insisted.

They may find themselves revisiting past flames as romance resurfaces and 'secret attractions tempt'.

In the meantime, the season will also offer a chance to 'heal old patterns and invite healthier deeper love.'

Libra (September 23–October 22)

Venus entering Leo could mean a total connection switch up for Libra.  

'Friends become lovers and lovers become friends,' said Santos, adding that glowing social circles could offer the potential for new romance.

'Your natural charm shines brightest in company,' she said.

Scorpio (October 23–November 21)

'Ambition fuels attraction,' for Scorpio, who's magnetic presence could attract romance from even the most unlikely walks of life.

'Your magnetic presence draws admirers even at work,' she said. 

'Recognition and romance link together. Love thrives when you own your power.'

Sagittarius (November 22–December 21)

Sagittarius will see adventure at the forefront of their experience as Venus transits.

'Venus in Leo lights up travel learning and expansion,' Santos explained. 

'Love grows through new experiences and breaking routine.' Meanwhile, 'long-distance sparks could catch fire.'

Capricorn (December 22–January 19)

The movement of Venus will heighten romantic intensity for Capricorn. 

For singles, this could mean finding themselves in 'fated connections', while couples will see their bonds strengthened if they are willing to open up.

'Intensity deepens,' warned the astrologer. 'Venus heightens intimacy urging you to open up. Trust brings passion.'

Aquarius (January 20–February 18)  

'Partnerships are spotlighted' for Aquarius this month. For those who are single, this could mean meeting 'someone captivating'.

And for those in current relationships, they will likely feel a sense of sparks 'reignited'. 

Santos encouraged Aquarius to 'balance independence with devotion for lasting passion.'

Pisces (February 19–March 20)

Pisces will experience a less intense experience than other signs and will instead feel more romance 'in the everyday'. 

'Acts of kindness, small gestures and shared routines create closeness,' she explained. 

'Love may blossom through work or wellness spaces. The ordinary turns magical.'
