Wicked fans are obsessed with the blossoming partnership that has formed between Jeff Goldblum and Jonathan Bailey, declaring them to be the 'bromance we didn't know we needed'.

Kaos star Jeff, 72, and Bridgerton actor Jonathan, 36, appear alongside each other in the upcoming epic musical fantasy film, which is helmed by Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo.

Ahead of the movie's release to cinemas on November 22, the duo - who play the Wizard of Oz and Fiyero - have been increasingly delighting fans with their undeniable chemistry in a string of press interviews.

Most recently, the pair were sat down with Entertainment Tonight when they were asked about when they fell in love with each other.

After initially bursting into a sweet rendition of the Carpenters' love song Close To You, Jeff revealed that both he and Jonathan are ballet dancers.

'Not only are we ballet dancers, but I'm a belly dancer too,' Jeff divulged, showing off his moves through his jumper.

Jonathan then cheekily added: 'When he puts the bell on his bellybutton piercing you can really hear it as well.'

'In fact, this morning we both had porridge, and he came and brought his oatmeal to me on point and the bell was just ringing out loud.'

In another recent chat with Etalk, Jeff and Jonathan enthusiastically talked about each other's bulging thighs after the interviewer recalled Jonathan's legs in short shorts at the Wicked photo call in Sydney earlier this month.

'You know Jeff's thighs are seven times the size of mine and his ankles are 2.3 millimetres,' Jonathan joked.

'When he gets those shorty shorts on, all we can say is 'release the kraken!' Jeff added.

At this point, Jonathan interjected: 'And I would say, I'm cracking a nut back there when I tense them.

Fans have flooded social media praising their chemistry and have declared that we need more of them together.

'I'm loving the duo,' one said. 'Pure charisma.'
