How shoppers are saving a fortune on expensive home gadgets after popular Australian store Godfreys entered administration

Customers are saving hundreds of dollars by picking up heavily discounted Godfreys vacuum cleaners after the iconic brand announced its entering administration.
Some customers have manage to score up to 75 per cent off popular buys - including robot vacuum cleaners and Bissell products.
Godfreys cited downward pressure on consumer spending caused by high inflation and cost-of-living concerns as reasons behind its demise.
'Sadly, like many retailers, we have been heavily impacted by consumer confidence and spending due to the economic era of high inflation, rising interest rates, and intense cost of living pressures,' said Jane Allen, daughter of co-founder John Johnston, on Tuesday.

Mum Purieh secured four new vacuum cleaners for $636.72 and saved more than $2,000
Mum-of-two Anastasia, from Victoria, spent a total of $430 and got her hands on the Tineco Floor One S7 Pro vacuum for just $325 ($1,299 RRP), Bissell cleaning solution for $12.50 ($24.99 RRP).
Sharing an image on Facebook she wrote: 'The manager told me the following stores are closing by Friday unless sold out prior.. Prahran, Richmond, Highpoint, Greensborough, Knox, Geelong, Dandenong and Frankston.
'Might be best to call before you go to see what they still have in stock. It's not advertised, yesterday Prahran had a printed piece of paper on the window saying 'Ex Demo 75 per cent off' and Richmond had a handwritten note on the door saying 'Up to 75 per cent off'.'

Customers were urged to call ahead or visit their local store as stock is likely to run out fast.
Mum Purieh also secured four brand new vacuum cleaners for $636.72 and saved more than $2,000.

She bought the Tineco Carpet One Pro Shampooer ($999 RRP), Tineco Pure One S11 Cordless Stick Vacuum ($599 RRP), 360 S8 Plus Robot Vacuum and Mop ($799 RRP) and a Miele Vacuum ($649 RRP).
Customers were urged to call ahead or visit their local store as stock is likely to run out fast.
'That's an insane bargain... I only got my Tineco two months ago for full price,' one person commented.
'This is extremely bad for the workers at those stores but extremely great for the customers,' another wrote.
The collapse of the famous business and its 141 stores across Australia and New Zealand threatens the livelihoods of 600 staff. A further 28 stores are run by franchisees.
Of the 600, about 171 from Australia and about 20 in New Zealand are expected to be out of a job.
