A dog groomer was attacked by a rival's husband at an awards ceremony in Wales. Adrian Bolton ran after Julian Sandy and punched him outside the venue. It happened at the Best of Welsh Business Awards after the results were announced. Mr Sandy ran Woofterz Dog Grooming, which won in the pet services category. He beat Mr Bolton's wife's business, Paws n Relax, and six other firms to the prize. Mr Sandy was left with a snapped joint and chipped bone and was unable to work for 12 weeks. Mr Bolton admitted to assault causing actual bodily harm and was ordered to do unpaid work.
