TALK OF THE TOWN: Bake Off star Paul Hollywood swaps horse-mad ex girlfriend Summer Monteys-Fullam for a pub
He built it as a stable for his horse-mad ex-girlfriend Summer Monteys-Fullam, but now Paul Hollywood has found a new use for the redundant structure in his garden – he’s turned it into a pub!
In what has to be the metaphorical equivalent of chucking her belongings out of the bedroom window, Paul, 54, has transformed the wooden building in the grounds of his £800,000 farmhouse into his own bar, installing a hatch that pulls down to become a table for drinks and plush lighting.
Last year, the stable was at the centre of a bizarre battle between Summer and Bake Off judge Paul after he refused to let her take it with her when she moved out.

Horse mad Summer Monteys-Fullam, pictured, threatened to take the baker to court for £4,000 following their split, after he refused to let her take the stable with her
The 24-year-old threatened to take him to court for £4,000, four months after they ended their two-year relationship.
Summer said at the time: ‘All I have ever wanted was to get back what is rightfully mine – stuff I bought with my own savings.
‘He’s punishing my horses with his spite.’
Guess she won’t be popping round for a swift half, then.
