Sarah Paulson bundles up in chic olive coat in NYC... 2 weeks before beginning Netflix show Ratched

Glass actress Sarah Paulson bundled up in a chic olive-green coat before exiting Crosby Street Hotel in Manhattan's SoHo neighborhood on Wednesday.

The 44-year-old Golden Globe winner - who relies on stylist Karla Welch - paired her long outerwear with a white cable-knit sweater, cuffed blue jeans, brown bag, and black combat boots.

The Tampa-born beauty wore her blonde bob side-parted and down for the outing and wore minimal make-up aside from her dark, outlined brows.

Missing from Sarah's side was her much older girlfriend Holland Taylor, whom she knew in passing for a decade until they reconnected in 2015 over Twitter.

At 76, the Mr. Mercedes actress is 32 years older than Paulson, but she still calls her 'the only one' and loves her 'wildly and forever.'

In a couple weeks, the Bird Box star will begin executive producing and starring as Nurse Ratched in the Netflix 11-episode series Ratched, which is a 1947-set prequel of One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest.

On Monday, co-creator Ryan Murphy unveiled the star-studded ensemble for his 2020 series including Sharon Stone, Judy Davis, Cynthia Nixon, Amanda Plummer, Corey Stoll, and Finn Wittrock.

'I remember a time when no movie star would ever do a TV show,' the AADA grad told Harper's Bazaar UK on Wednesday.

'Now people are clamouring to be on them. I don't really have a preference because there's so much wonderful stuff happening in television. I feel like the plans I have are never as good as the ones that happen naturally, so I just see what comes. Even though for a control freak like me that is not an easy thing to do!'

It's not a far cry from Sarah's psychiatrist character Dr. Ellie Staple in M. Night Shyamalan's dismally-reviewed sequel Glass, which hits US/UK theaters this Friday.

Bruce Willis and Samuel L. Jackson reprise their characters David Dunn and Elijah Price from Unbreakable in 2000 while James McAvoy reprises his 24 personalities from Split in 2017.

'The reason this one is so much more unique and more meaningful is that it's not coming at you with all of this visual imagery of buildings being blown up and CGI,' Paulson explained.

'Glass engages on a more personal level, which makes it special.'

The Emmy winner added: 'The fact that I'm in this movie and I'm 44 years old and I'm not just playing someone's mother or wife - that in and of itself communicates that there has been forward motion.'

Sarah recalled: 'We're the only people who have hair in the movie. So we were in the make-up trailer the earliest and the latest...It just created an atmosphere for a lot of excited talking, very colorful dialogue. And nobody does that like he does'
