Gizzi Erskine has slammed Spotify claiming that her podcast with Sydney Lima was 'stolen' by the corporation and 'made without' them.  

Gizzi claimed that she and Sydney created the podcast Sex, Lies & DM Slides 'over a series of months', however, it is now being fronted by influencer's Saffron Barker and Anastasia Kingsnorth.

The TV chef, 43, said she is 'shocked and horrified' that Spotify would 'steal our format and name' and felt 'exploited by the big corporation' - claims which the streaming service deny.

Gizzi claimed that taking the podcast is 'daylight robbery' but insisted that she does not blame the new hosts. 

In an Instagram post on Saturday, the TV star asked Strictly's Saffron and YouTube star Anastasia to 'hold Spotify accountable'.

Alongside Saffron and Anastasia's promo pic, Gizzi shared her anger and frustration. 

She wrote: 'I am shocked and horrified to learn that mine and @sydneylimaa podcast @sexliesdmslides that we made with @spotifyuk is being made again without us.

'That’s fine. If Spotify don’t want to make it with us - then that’s fine, but DO NOT STEAL our format and name.

'WE created it (the format and name) in MY kitchen over a series of months. Spotify just paid for it to be made. 

'I am absolutely up to my f****** eyeballs at being exploited by the big corporations and money people.' 

She went on to reveal that she is 'insulted' after Spotify removed hers and Sydney's podcast and asked for fans help.

Gizzie continued: 'A show not just built on us exposing the sex lives and abuse, but made with documentary integrity and intelligence. 

'This as everyone can see if daylight robbery. I am not blaming the girls, @anastasiakingsnorth and @saffronbarker who have almost definitely been caught up in this, but would ask them to hold Spotify accountable for this as it’s gross.

'F***. We are SO angry and upset. To add insult to injury @spotifyuk @spotify have taken down mine and Sydney’s show. 

'If you wanna help maybe write to Spotify. I’ll find out how.'
