Channel 4 has booted a new show from its primetime slot after disastrous ratings - with two acclaimed series drafted in to replace it in a TV schedule shake-up.
The Hunt: Prey vs Predator sees ten players bid to win up to £100,000 as they compete in a contest of stamina and strategy.
To win, they have to split themselves into two groups, the predators and the prey, and each episode will follow them in an 'intense, dog-eat-dog hunt'.
But despite launching in the primetime 9pm slot on Sunday night, The Hunt will reportedly be pushed to 10pm from next week as a result of bad ratings, according to TV Zone.
It is being said The Hunt will still air at 9pm this coming Sunday but will be replaced by repeats of 24 Hours In A&E and Grand Designs at 9pm for the rest of its run.
The first episode on Sunday reportedly began with just 350,000 viewers and ratings fell even further, with Tuesday's instalment bringing in just 180,000.

The Daily Mail has contacted Channel 4 for comment.
It comes after The Hunt viewers were lost for words after one of the 33-year-old contestants revealed that he's a grandad - while others hailed the new Channel 4 show as 'perfect TV' after its 'brutal' premiere on Sunday night.
Ten players introduced themselves to each other during the first instalment, including dentist Nathan, who is a proud father-of-six.
The first episode saw the group getting to know each other, and viewers couldn't believe it when Nathan opened up about his family life.
Nathan, who revealed that he has functional neurological disorder, confessed: 'I am a father-of-six, and a grandfather-of-one.
'But we don't use the word granddad, because it's really uncool so it's papa.'
Speaking to camera, Nathan said: 'Life is always on the go, so this a break! This is a holiday. £100k would be life changing for my family.'
Many rushed to X, formerly known as Twitter, to share their shock at his confession.
'#thehunt Nathan. A grandad, at 33?!!!'; '33 and a Grandad?'; 'He’s 33 and he’s a grandad!? #TheHunt #PreyvsPredator,';
'What ? 33 year old granddad?' 'Surprised no one had follow up questions for Nathan being a grandad at 33!? Maybe he’s with an older person with children already.'
He also shared that having functional neurological disorder is the reason behind taking part in the show.

Nathan told viewers: 'That means I would have seizures and things I took for granted aren't easy anymore.
'I just thought you know what, I want to prove that I can do this, because this condition can be limiting. So it's now to prove to myself that nothing can limit me.
'I will limit me if I choose to me and like f*** I am going to limit me.'
According to the NHS Informs website, the condition 'describes a problem with how the brain receives and sends information to the rest of the body.'
News of brand new show The Hunt: Prey vs Predator was first shared back in February.
The official press release stated: 'Deep in a vast unforgiving forest, contestants are dropped into the ultimate real-world game of hide and seek - where losing means walking away with nothing and winning could mean pocketing up to £100,000. Surviving the game isn’t about being the fastest. It’s about being the smartest.
'Each episode is built around a tense, dog-eat-dog hunt, where each player becomes either a Predator or Prey.
'The Prey hold the cash, desperately trying to protect their winnings while completing challenges to win more money.
'The Predators must hunt them down and steal their cash. If they succeed their roles are reversed and the entire game flips, with Predators suddenly become Prey.'
