DIY SOS host Nick Knowles was left touched by the impact of a local youth club being shut down in the latest episode.
During the BBC One show, which aired on Tuesday December 30, he was reduced to tears after speaking to a local woman about the issue.
The woman explained how important Cherry Tree Youth Club in Beverley was to her when she was younger, telling an emotional Nick that it was later converted into a food pantry.
The youth club is aimed at young people aged 10-18 (and up to 25 with SEND) with a strong team of youth workers who are dedicated to improving the life chances of the young people they are in contact with.
She said: 'I don't know where I would be if I didn't come to the youth club; it opened so many opportunities for me.'
In response, the 63-year-old presenter shared: 'I grew up in a place like this, the kind of place that people say, "Oh, don't bother building anything nice there, it will just get destroyed."

'You have to build stuff in tough places, you have to make a difference to change...'
Choking on tears, Nick then continued: 'You will make this happen, you will change the futures of young people around here with what we are about to do. Are we up for it?'
Working his magic, Nick and the team turned an empty field into a brand new all-singing all-dancing youth club.
The community emphasised how important it was to have a youth club in the area, so young people felt they had a place to go.
Nick previously fought back the tears on last Tuesday's episode of This Morning as he revealed how the Christmas special moved him more than any other episode in 26 years.
Nick appeared on the show to chat to hosts Craig Doyle, 55, and Siân Welby, 39, about the festive instalment.
Nick said: 'The biggest question I get asked a lot is "Why don't you get emotional? How can you manage to hold it together when everybody is sort of falling apart?"
'My thing has always been that the story isn't about me. It's about the people that have come to build and the people that they are building for.'
Fighting back the tears, Nick continued: 'But this one actually got me. You'll see that I lost it at the end.'
The Cherry Tree Youth Club, which is involved in the upcoming Christmas special, was launched in 2016

Craig asked: 'Why this one, particularly?'
Nick didn't want to give much away and replied: 'I'm going to have to say you're going to have to watch it...'
The TV star started to get visibly upset and his voice broke as he continued:' For two reasons, I'm starting to well up thinking about it.
'So you'll have to watch it to see.'
He added: 'The trouble is, you get so bound up in these things.
'When you meet these families, or you meet a charity like that, that is battling so hard to do something for the kids up there that have got nothing else.
'You become so emotionally involved in it, you can't help, we've done hundreds of them, we worked it out the other day, 26 years we've been doing it, 260 odd builds we've done...
'My favourite thing about it is, long after everybody has forgotten who I am, forgotten the name of the programme, these buildings are still going to be there looking after people by the people who turn up.

'Not by us, it's lovely when people say to me "It's lovely what you do", but it's the people who turn up.
'In this environment to give up five or six days of work, not earn any money and work in all weathers to make it happen.
'It reminds you that there are more good people than bad and our community spirit that is gone... is sitting there underneath the surface.'

The chairman of the YOR4Good panel said: 'This has created a vibrant, safe space for local young people to meet and benefit from the facilities available at the hub.
'We have already witnessed the positive impact this group has on young people's lives.'
The project has been hailed as a 'life-changing' foundation for young people, showcasing immense local pride and volunteerism.
