Veteran actress Niecy Nash is heaping praise on Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce for his skills in front of the camera.
Kelce is starring alongside Nash in a horror series 'Grotesquerie' directed by American Horror Story's Ryan Murphy.
Nash says she's been working with the football star on set with rehearsing lines and so far, things seem to be going swimmingly.
'You know what, I'm pleasantly surprised. He's doing really well,' Nash, 54, told Entertainment Tonight.
As for their rehearsals, the actress said it usually involves 'us sitting around eating In-N-Out reading words off a piece of paper.'
Travis Kelce's acting chops have been given a review by his 'Grotesquerie' co-stars

Nash was then asked if she ever inquires about his relationship with Taylor Swift - to which the 'Reno 911!' star replied, 'Well now, I don't ask and tell! Let me just say that.'
As for whether Nash has quizzed the Super Bowl champion about his superstar girlfriend, Taylor Swift, also 34, the actress played coy.
It was Nash who was the first to reveal that Kelce would be starring alongside her when she shared a video of herself and the NFL star on set via an Instagram post in May.
In the clip, Nash says into the camera, 'Guys, guess who I'm working with on Grotesquerie … dun-dun-dun-dun!' before panning to Kelce.
After the two started laughing, Kelce said, 'Jumping into new territory with Niecy!'
Kelce also shared the clip to his personal Instagram Story - writing 'Steppin into a new world with one of the legends!' and tagging Nash.
In previous episodes of the 'New Heights' podcast with his brother Jason Kelce, Travis described his acting debut as 'so much fun' and praised Murphy for being an 'unbelievable writer, director, producer, all of the above'.
'He seemed very confident that I'd be able to do this, and he kinda injected that in me the first conversation that we had. So hopefully I don't bomb this for him,' Travis said.
But Kelce also said, 'Ifeel like a jabroni, I feel like an amateur, but I haven’t gotten fired yet. They haven’t told me to f**king kick rocks after the first week.'
Kelce has other Hollywood gigs too - like hosting Amazon's 'Are You Smarter Than a Celebrity?'
A source told Us Weekly back in May, 'Travis had an incredible time filming. He had fun doing it.'
Of course, this is not the only Hollywood gig that Travis Kelce has been able to manage in recent months.
The tight end is set to host the Amazon Prime Video game show 'Are You Smarter Than a Celebrity?' - the streaming platform's take on the show 'Are You Smarter Than a Fifth Grader?'.
'I grew up loving game shows, and I'm excited to be following in the footsteps of so many TV icons by hosting my very first one with Are You Smarter Than a Celebrity?' Kelce said in a statement.
'The original show is a great success, so to be bringing a new format with everyone's favorite celebrities to the screen, will definitely be entertaining.
'I'm just happy to be on the hosting side of the equation here and excited to see how these famous faces keep up.'
