Dodgers land stunning new player just weeks after winning the World Series... and he rejected the Yankees
The Dodgers have added another star talent to their World Series-winning roster, as the team has reportedly agreed to sign two-time Cy Young winner Blake Snell.
Snell, 31, pitched last season with the Giants as he posted a 3.12 ERA and 145 strikeouts.
And now, he's agreed to join the Dodgers on a five-year, $182million deal, according to ESPN's Jeff Passan and Jorge Castillo.
The deal is reportedly subject to Snell passing a medical.
Prior to ESPN's report, Snell posted a photoshopped picture of himself in a Dodgers uniform to his Instagram page.

The Dodgers clinched the World Series on October 30 with a Game 5 win over the Yankees
'LA,' he captioned the post with an eyeball emoji.
Snell's most recent Cy Young win came in the 2023 season, when he threw a league-leading 2.25 ERA for the Padres.
He'll now join a rotation featuring Tyler Glasnow, Yoshinobu Yamamoto and two-way star Shohei Ohtani, who is expected to return to the mound next season following Tommy John surgery in September 2023.
The addition of Snell to the Dodgers will come as a blow to their MLB rivals, especially given that the Yankees, Orioles and Red Sox all attempted to sign him, according to MLB Network insider Mark Feinsand.
Snell's agreement to join the Dodgers comes less than a month after they clinched the World Series against the Yankees.
LA needed just five games to beat the Yankees - with the clinching 7-6 win coming in the Bronx.
