The 1985 motion picture from feted filmmaker Tim Burton put the late Pee-wee Herman on the map as a major pop culture star.
The storyline followed Pee-wee as he searched the country for his red bicycle after his archrival Francis had tried hard to buy it from him.
The plot unfolded as he traveled through truck stops, the Alamo and even the Warner Brothers backlot.

Kourtney received the bicycle seven months after one of the 14 used in the movie was purchased by a private bidder for $125,000 in an auction this past May.
The bike hit the auction block as part of a sale at Van Eaton Galleries in Los Angeles tied to the estate of late animation mogul Jay Ward.
It was not immediately clear if the auctioned bicycle was the one Kim gave her sister.

Kim has been a generous gift giver over the holidays this year, presenting her four children with memorable presents.
All four kids - North, 12, Saint, 10, Chicago, seven, and Psalm, six - received Pomeranian puppies.
