Husband begs internet for help finding his lost wedding band ...can you spot the ring hiding in plain sight?

A desperate husband called on the internet after he lost his wedding band in a pile of dirt.

The man said he took the ring off while working out and attached it to his wallet.

However, at some point the precious ring flew off and bounced into the underbelly of his deck.

He uploaded an image on a Reddit thread showing where he dropped and challenged people to help locate it.

'Took off my wedding band during my gym session and clipped it onto my wallet,' he explained.

'Pulled my key out from my pocket to open the door and of course it had to fall under the deck.'

He revealed that he eventually found the ring after two hours of frantic searching.

However, it took online sleuths considerably less time, with many suggesting the band was 'hiding in plain sight'.

So, can you spot the rogue ring?

The task proved next to impossible for many viewers.

'Find your own wedding band,' a defeated commenter said sarcastically.

'I always think “it’s some place easy and obvious” and idk why, but my brain does a thing where the second I focus and get ready to start, I blank and scatter,' another wrote.

The same poster revealed it took them an hour and a half to locate it.

A third commenter took a shot in the dark and completely missed.

'It looks like it is to the right of the bottle cap next to the end of that giant leaf,' they said.

The original poster gently corrected them and tried to offer a hint.

'Unfortunately not. It’s a wedding band (not ring) if that helps,' he wrote.

Several people mistook a shiny white rock for the missing wedding ring.

In reality the band was spotted lying in the dirt text to a rusted board and beneath the lattice of the stairs.

Thankfully the cherished ring is now back with its owner who joked that he should have asked for the internet's help much sooner.

'I should have actually posted multiple pictures here instead of looking like burglar around my house for 2 hours,' he wrote.
