A bus driver accused of careless driving causing the death of an 18-year-old woman has had his case delayed by at least two months over a mechanical report.
Tia Cameron was struck by a Brisbane council bus while walking on a footpath in the city's central business district on March 8, 2024.
Ms Cameron, an administration worker, was pinned against a wall and died at the scene while four bus passengers were treated for minor injuries.
Council bus driver Lindsay Francis Selby, 70, was months later charged with driving without due care and attention causing death.
Selby was not required to appear in person when his charges were mentioned in Brisbane Magistrates Court on Wednesday.
Ms Cameron's father, Alastair, attended court in the public gallery.
Defence solicitor Claire McGee told Magistrate Ross Mack she had not been provided with a full forensic report's 'assessments related to the mechanics of the bus'.
'I do have part of a report. The report I requested prior to the first mention, the substance of it has not yet been received,' Ms McGee said.

'We have half the report. It's missing the annexure to the report: the mechanical inspection.'
Prosecutor Bimal Raut said he could only ask for the report.
'It should be able to clear the path. I can only hope,' he said.
Ms McGee said she had been told by another prosecutor that it could take three weeks to provide the report, which she had requested multiple times.
'You should live my life. I request things all the time and I never get them, especially in this court,' Mr Mack said.
The magistrate said he would adjourn the matter until March 26.
'You are not going to get anything done in three weeks. You have to give it to someone other than a lawyer who can read a mechanical report,' he said.
Mr Mack told Ms McGee she could bring the matter back to court if the prosecution did not supply her with the full report within three weeks.
Selby's release on bail was continued.
