Republican vice presidential nominee J.D. Vance will join famous podcaster Joe Rogan on his show this week.

The sit-down is scheduled for Wednesday, a source familiar with the campaign's plans told DailyMail.com.

The interview is expected to begin at 9 am local time.

Vance's tentative appearance on the program comes just after Rogan said that his offer to Democratic nominee Kamala Harris is still on the table should she choose to accept.

'They offered a date for Tuesday, but I would have had to travel to her and they only wanted to do an hour,' Rogan wrote on X Monday regarding the Harris campaign's offer to sit for the podcast.

But Rogan was not inclined to accommodate the VP's tailored order.

'I strongly feel the best way to do it is in the studio in Austin,' Rogan wrote.

'My sincere wish is to just have a nice conversation and get to know her as a human being.'

The sit-down with Vance will come just one week after the podcaster interviewed Republican nominee Donald Trump at his studio in Austin.

Speaking for nearly three hours off-the-cuff, the two delved into a wide range of topics.

And that episode has received a massive reception.

It has received many more millions of views on Spotify, where Rogan has a deal to air his show.

During the interview, which was published this past weekend, Rogan revealed why he decided to have Trump on after all these years.

Speaking with the presidential nominee in a wide-ranging interview, Rogan referenced Trump's interview with comedian Theo Von in August.

Trump asked: 'Is that why you called me to do this?'

Rogan responded: 'No. Once they shot you I was like, "He's gotta come in here."'

Showing off the wound he received when gunman Thomas Matthew Crooks opened fire on him in July of this year, Trump said: 'It zicked right there.'

Also in that appearance the former president doubled down on his plan to cut taxes

Rogan, 57, asked the Republican nominee: 'Did you just float out the idea of getting rid of income taxes and replacing it with tariffs? Were we serious about that?'

Trump responded: 'Why not, our country was the richest in the 1880s and the 1890s, a President who was assassinated named [William] McKinley he was the tariff king. He spoke beautifully of tariffs, his language was really beautiful.'
