The VERY racy past of 'wholesome' influencer Holly Barnes... as her 'masterful' transformation and dramatic voice change is exposed

Glamorous food influencer Holly Barnes has gone viral on social media thanks to her elaborate 'savory girl' recipes, whipping up wild concoctions from a Chinese food Bloody Mary to dirty martini onion boils.

The Los Angeles-based content creator is famous for heaping tins of caviar on top of potato chips, munching on meals in her bubble bath and shaking cocktails that are easily the size of her head.

Barnes has amassed 1.2 million TikTok followers who praise her eccentric snack plates, with fans labeling her creations - and sweet posts with her boyfriend and mom - as 'goals.'

However, after Barnes shared a sponsored content post where she teamed up with AI partner Claude, many of her fans turned on her and accused her of cutting corners and abandoning her own creativity.

They mocked her for turning to artificial intelligence for help with a beef wellington recipe, something she described as 'notoriously difficult' in a video which ended up garnering more than 81,000 likes.

Then, some social media users decided to delve into her background, and discovered that she previously had a very different career to the more wholesome image she has curated online.

Instead, they found that Barnes was previously a sex worker who starred on the racy reality show Heartbreak Island, appearing on the series with a thick Australian accent.

'The rebrand was MASTERFUL,' one TikTok user commented about Barnes' apparent move from the adult content industry into being a food influencer and her dramatic accent switch.

On Instagram, her content seemingly starts on December 12, 2024, with a berry brie grilled cheese Instagram Reel recipe - although she was making very different videos long before that.

After Reddit super sleuths delved into her past, they found she had an active OnlyFans page and had been making racy videos under the name Holly Day.

Barnes had been open about her time on OF and even appeared on Adam22's YouTube show PlugTalk and discussed working in the adult industry.

She also spoke to Adult Time about how she started working in the industry, saying it was sparked by her time on an Australian reality show.

She said while she could have 'fully done' anything else and could have gone back to school, she was 'scared' of having a regular job, and chose to do adult content instead.

Barnes is known to have been friends with trans influencer Lilah Gibney, who has previously found herself in hot water for allegedly 'disrespectful' behavior. The pair have collaborated on OnlyFans content.

Many fans were blown away to learn that she had a strong Australian accent when she starred on the show Heartbreak Island alongside Harry Jowsey in 2022, who is famous for appearing on the Netflix show Too Hot to Handle.

In the promotional images from the show, Barnes was listed as a media manager and stylist, as well as an American from Los Angeles who moved to a new country every few years.

One internet sleuth pointed out that despite her Australian accent being very convincing, her family members appear to have American accents, suggesting she is originally from the US.

Despite her dramatically different appearance and altered accent, eagle-eyed fans realized her tattoos were exactly the same.

There is no trace of her earlier content on her pages, and the influencer has seemingly 'retired' from adult video work, with fans pointing out how her handles have changed from Holly Day to Holly Barnes.

She has since become popular for her over the top 'fridge scaping,' where she turns the contents of her refrigerator into fancy food boards piled high with fresh grapes, home-pickled onions and fresh herbs grown in vintage glassware.

She often creates recipes alongside her mother, and shares gushing posts about her boyfriend.

She calls her fanbase 'savory girls' and urges her fans to make their own 'gorge' snack plates, which they do, before proudly showing them off in her busy comments section.

To some of her devoted fans, the pivot was seen as shocking, going from making adult content with controversial creators to sharing wholesome videos about her favorite spritzes and snacks.

However, many fans were more upset that she had turned to AI for help with what are usually innovative recipes.

The influencer was forced to turn off comments on the AI post and has kept them off on every savory post since.

The Daily Mail has reached out to Barnes for comment.
