Chick-fil-A unveils brand new menu items and customers are thrilled: ‘I'm excited to try one’
Chick-fil-A is giving customers something very cool to toast to.
The American fast food chain, famous for its chicken sandwiches and waffle fries, has announced brand new additions to the menu.
The headline addition is the Frosted Soda, a retro drink that blends a customer’s favorite soda with Icedream, Chick-fil-A’s signature version of ice cream.
The other throwback drink is soda and Icedream layered together to create a 'fizzy, foamy treat that’s perfect for sipping or scooping', the restaurant said.
Core flavors of soda for mixing are Coca-Cola, Dr Pepper, and Sprite, with additional options like Fanta, Powerade, Hi-C, Barq’s Root Beer, and diet options.
The retro additions are being introduced to honor Chick-fil-A's 80-year legacy, while also introducing exciting new offerings for the year ahead.
'This year marks more than an anniversary — it's a celebration of the memories, meals and meaningful moments that have brought people together at Chick-fil-A for generations,' said Khalilah Cooper, vice president of brand strategy, advertising and media.
'We have so much in store this year, delivering menu items and experiences that are fresh and exciting yet firmly rooted in Chick-fil-A's renowned quality, care, generosity, and hospitality,' she continued.

Chick-fil-A is also launching a series of four retro-inspired Classic Cups, with a new design debuting every few weeks, drawing inspiration from the brand’s archives.
The collection will also include a special Golden Fan Cup, with 3,000 winners set to receive free Chick-fil-A for a year, while supplies last.
Customers had a lot to say about Chick-fil-A's new lineup of drinks.
'These were tested in So Cal and they were pretty good,' a fan wrote. 'Not too expensive from what I recall too.'
'The Hi-C one sounds promising,' another said.
A Reddit user said: 'Excited to try one after work!'
Some customers weren't quite as excited.
'Middle of freezing winter who wants a frosted soda,' someone wrote.
The chain was recently knocked off the top spot for favorite fast food chains in America, the crown is now held by Del Taco

Chick-fil-A is no doubt trying to impress customers after being knocked off the top spot for America's top fast food chain.
It was announced in August that the title now belongs to Del Taco.
It's the second year in a row the Mexican-inspired chain has topped the list, beating out bigger names despite operating just 600 restaurants nationwide.
The 61-year-old brand, known for burritos, fries and even vegan options, is owned by Jack in the Box — which itself took second place. A&W secured third place.
Meanwhile, Chick-fil-A slipped down the list to fourth after backlash over a recipe tweak to its beloved waffle fries.
Some customers even threatened a boycott, calling the change 'gross,' though the chain continues to thrive with more than 3,000 locations across North America.
In September, Chick-fil-A announced it would be diving into the beverage game with its first-ever drinks-focused café. Named Daybright, the location, operated by Chick-fil-A subsidiary Red Wagon, opened in the Greater Atlanta area.
