I'm A Celebrity stars Scarlett Moffatt and Ashley Roberts were left in shock as campmate David Haye bragged about dating a 'lovely' woman 'with the personality of a proper ugly bird'.

In Tuesday's (April 13) episode, former professional boxer David, 45, discussed his girlfriend Sian Osborne with the group for the first time.

He said: 'It'd be good to get everyone together as well, after this.

'[Sian] can cook, for like, 60 people. We have these parties in Costa Rica...'

Pussycat Dolls star Ashley interjected: 'Who is this woman?'

In response, David went on to describe her as: 'Tall, blue eyes...'

Sinitta then said: 'She sounds like she's drop dead gorgeous.'

David replied: 'She's lovely, she's got the personality of a proper ugly bird.'

A gobsmacked Scarlett Moffatt chimed in with: 'You can't say that, David! You can't say that', laughing in disbelief.

As Scarlett and Ashley asked what he means by the comment, David clarified: 'Most ugly girls realise they've got to have a personality to banter, tell jokes and s**t.

'People overlook the fact they're not aesthetically amazing straight away.

'What's it called - Ugly Duckling Syndrome? When girls are ugly when they start off, then get pretty as they get older.

'But they've still got the personality of when they're ugly.'

Looking down and pulling her hair over her face, Ashley groaned: 'Oh, dear God...'.

Ashley wasn't the only left surprised, as one viewer wrote on X: 'David Haye is pathetic all brawn and no brains but why take his pathetic comment out on his partner? She hasn’t done anything wrong.'

Another said: 'Who the hell does this David Haye think he is? Mysoginist much??!!'

A third shared: 'David haye is disgusting saying what he is saying about women vile human being.'

A fourth remarked: 'Can someone put a muzzle on David Haye? Disgusting, sexist and misogynistic.'

While a fifth added: 'So David haye is sexist?'

A sixth concurred: 'I don't know why David haye is on this again he's so sexist can't stand him.'

A seventh penned: 'How the hell did David Haye make third place last time.'

Elsewhere, Gemma Collins crashed to the ground after falling out of a hammock tonight - leaving David Haye scrambling to 'rescue' her as the rest of the camp is left laughing.

While Adam Thomas and Scarlett Moffatt got emotional discussing the love they have for their families, Gemma, 45, tries to sit down on the hammock as the camp settle down for the evening.

However, as she perched on the material bed, the hammock quickly lurched backwards, leaving her crashing to the ground with her legs up in the air.

As the remainder of the camp was left laughing at her mishap, boxer David, 45, rushed over to help Gemma get back on her feet and told her: 'That's a terrible start.'

'Oh, David, oh my God,' Gemma gasped, rolling on the floor trying to get up - leaving former Gogglebox star Scarlett, 35, shouting: 'Get the camera!'

Adam checked in from across the camp: 'Are you alright, Gem?' to which she replied: 'I'm fine, I've had a lot worse falls, oh, thank you David.'

'Just take it nice and steady,' David encouraged her as he helped her get into the hammock, leaving Adam and Scarlett laughing once again.

'You know what, Gemma? We were nearly crying over here missing our kids, I’m on top of the world now,' Scarlett tells her after composing herself.

'David Haye came to my rescue,' Gemma concluded as she relaxes in the hammock. 'I’m winning at life!'

Elsewhere in the episode, two new campmates arrived in camp, as show hosts Ant and Dec reveal that the celebrities will be split into two kingdoms: The Lions and The Rhinos.

'Over the next few days you will be competing head-to-head in trials and challenges. Only the winning kingdom will eat dinner. The losers will survive on rice and beans,' the duo reveal.

'Every good kingdom needs a king,' Dec says. 'So it’s time to welcome two new campmates…' before revealing the celebrities arriving inside a carriage.

Jimmy Bullard and Harry Redknapp appeared from inside the train, and took their places on the two thrones ready to be in charge of the two teams.
