Johanna Konta suffered a first-round defeat at the Rogers Cup in Toronto as the British No 1 was beaten in straight sets by 19-year-old Ukrainian Dayana Yastremska. Playing for the first time since her Wimbledon quarter-final loss to Barbora Strycova, Konta was beaten 6-3 6-2 in an hour and 21 minutes.
