Marcus Bettinelli is back on Premier League radar after his excellent start at Middlesbrough
Middlesbrough have conceded just six goals all season - the best defensive record in the top four divisions.
Bettinelli has managed seven clean sheets already this season, the best record in the Championship.
And his performances are starting to attract interest from Premier League teams as he bolsters his reputation as one of the best goalkeepers outside the top-flight.
The 28-year-old was called into the England squad by Gareth Southgate in 2018 and was rated as one of the best emerging keeper’s in the country.
But Fulham’s relegation that season resulted in Bettinelli losing his place in the England set-up - but a return to the Premier League would put him back on the International radar.
