Inter Milan 'demand in excess of £75m' for Manchester City and Barcelona target Milan Skriniar this summer

Manchester City and Barcelona will have to part with over £75million if they want to bring in Inter Milan defender Milan Skriniar this summer.

The 25-year-old has been a regular at the heart of Antonio Conte's title-challengers' defence this season.

But the Italian could seek to cash in on the Slovakian defender if a huge bid comes in for him, according to Calciomercato.

They claim that City had a bid of nearly £60m turned down for him in January.

Skriniar moved to the San Siro from Sampdoria in 2017 and has made 115 appearances in three years. 

However the report adds that there is a growing feeling in Italy that his style does not suit Conte's, who has come to prefer 20-year-old Alessandro Bastoni.

But chief executive Giuseppe Marotta appears to be reluctant to lose the centre-back in the transfer window.
