'The golden boy': PSG planning huge £41MILLION a year contract for Kylian Mbappe which will scupper Real Madrid’s plan to sign him in 2021

- The French club want to tie their star man down before the Euros this summer
- Real Madrid had planned to sign the striker in the last year of his contract
Paris-Saint-Germain will offer Kylian Mbappe a huge £41million a year contract in a bid to stop him completing a dream move to Real Madrid.
The French club want to get Mbappe's future sewn up before the start of the European Championships this summer and are prepared to offer him a salary equal to Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.
The World Cup winner has long been linked with a move to Madrid and AS report that the aim of club president Florentino Perez is to sign the 21-year-old in 2021 when he has just one year left on his contract.

The 21-year-old has netted 24 times in all competitions this season and is PSG's leading scorer
That was a tactic the Spanish giants employed when they lured Eden Hazard from Chelsea.
But PSG's proposed contract offer will make it extremely difficult for Madrid make a move with the striker's father reportedly being left out of negotiations.
The 'bombshell' offer comes after it was revealed that Mbappe earns significantly less than teammate Neymar.
French daily L'Equipe released estimates of monthly salaries across Ligue 1 with the Brazilian thought to be pocketing around £2.6million a month before tax which equates to a weekly salary of around £600,000.
According to the figures, which do not include bonuses, Mbappe currently earns in the region of £375,000 a week but the new deal would make him the highest paid player at the club.
PSG's sporting director Leonardo recently came out in support of Mbappe after the striker was involved in a heated exchange with manager Thomas Tuchel.
'I heard things about Mbappe, on his personality,' he told Canal+, as reported by Goal after PSG's 4-2 victory over Lyon at the weekend.
'It makes me feel uncomfortable. If a player leaves the field, and talks to the coach, OK... He is at fault. We will talk about it and settle this.
'But to say that he is a spoiled child, I don't accept that. Because he's an adorable, very committed person and a fantastic player.'
Mbappe scored the second goal in the Lyon win as Tuchel's side extended their lead at the top of Ligue 1 to 12 points.
