Ninety minutes of our lives we'll never get back. A drab game but another step forward for Leeds and a night of frustration and absent inspiration for Liverpool.

It was a good battle and they're a great side. They've not been at their best this season but with the quality they have, they can unlock you at any moment.

They'll be disappointed with that performance. They looked a little bit tired, they lacked that sharpness.

There wasn't much from them, threatening Leeds. They controlled it quite well but they didn't have that creative sharpness.

I mentioned before the game that this was a big opportunity for Liverpool when you consider some of the results this week, namely for Manchester United and Chelsea.

As l said throughout the game, Liverpool are on a decent run but performances will have to improve in the second half of the season to make sure Liverpool play in the Champions League next season.

And that is that in south London too, with Fulham picking up a handy point away from home to keep their grip on a top-half position.
