Relive Mail Sport's live blog of the final day of the Sky Bet Championship for the latest score, team news and updates as either Leeds or Burnley will lift the title.

Chaotic final day

Phoar, where to start?

Actually, what am I on about? There is a clear place to start. It's all popping off at Home Park as Leeds' comeback win over Plymouth means they have pipped Burnley to the Championship title, despite the Clarets beating Millwall.

Both sides end the season on 100 points. It was one hell of a battle; one for the ages.

It's not quite the party in the West Midlands, however, as Luton have suffered back-to-back relegations after being battered at the hands of West Brom.

They are joined by Plymouth and Cardiff, but Hull have survived by the skin of their teeth after a draw at Portsmouth.

It's a real party at Fratton Park, those away fans have been going balmy. Tigers supporters are lucky they don't have work tomorrow, eh?

The same reins true for both Coventry and Bristol City fans as the two clubs have taken the final two play-off places.

Coventry will take on Sunderland in their two-legged semi-final, while Bristol City take on Sheffield United.

And with that, after nine months, 46 games for each side, thousands of goals, highs and lows, the Championship season comes to a close.

Until next time, tara!

Leeds are the Champions, my friends

Alexa, play We Are the Champions by Queen!

I mean, what a banger. It's a song that's been stuck in my head since Leeds secured the title.

And well, I'm sure they will be playing it in the dressing room very soon as they have now lifted the trophy.

Nothing crazy from Ethan Ampadu as he lifts the trophy, a very generic raise in my eyes.

But who cares, they have won it!

Final Championship table

Well, I need a lie down.

I told you it would be a dramatic day, didn't I? And I certainly wasn't wrong.

40 goals, comebacks, crumbling, pendulum swings. It had it all.

After it all, Leeds claim the Championship crown over Burnley, Bristol City and Coventry take the final two play-off places, and Plymouth and Luton join Cardiff as they are relegated to League One.

Here are the final Championship standings:

Time to celebrate

It really is a wild party down on the south coast.

Pictures are flooding in as Leeds celebrate winning the Championship title on the final day.

As I type this, Ethan Ampadu is about to get his hands on the silverware at last.

What type of lift will he do? Every captain has his style, one that comes to mind is Jordan Henderson's shuffle.

Or maybe he will just be generic.

Lampard: 'We got what we deserved'

Frank Lampard, Coventry boss, speaking to Sky Sports:

I love it. It's so tense, tough for everybody involved. Performance brilliant in first half, and then we get our goal. Fully deserved that. Come out [again], a couple of moments for them. Listen, getting over the line from where we came from, credit to them. We got what we deserved for sure.

On Jack Rudoni's brace:

I speak a lot with Rudi [Jack Rudoni], he is a great kid. Every day he wants to get better, he wants more, and that was a great header. Constant energy, and to score that goal, fully deserved.

On facing Sunderland in the play-offs:

Well, we have to respect the best version of Sunderland. Maybe there was a bit of cruise control, but now we are in a different environment, and I expect the best of them.
I love it, I am excited. It's great for the club, from where we came from. It's going to be a big, big challenge, but it's been a long week, and I am just pleased to take a breath after that.

Hatters devastation at Hawthorns

Football can be brutal, can't it?

This time two years ago, Luton were on top of the world as they won the play-offs under Rob Edwards.

The Hatters had been promoted to the Premier League after a long journey to the top.

Well, how they have fallen apart since.

Relegation from the top flight was bad enough, but I don't think anybody saw them going down again this year.

Three wins heading into today gave them hope of staying up, but for 60 minutes at the Hawthorns, they were pathetic.

Conceding five goals when you are fighting to stay up is embarrassing, really. You don't deserve to survive after a display like that.

Still, it's going to suck. The players look devastated, as you would be.

It's time to get this party started

The party has well and truly begun at Home Park.

The Leeds players have rushed over to the end where their fans are situated and are going mental.

It's been a non-stop party this past week, but this may just be the biggest one of them all.

I'm sure there will be a few sore heads in the morning, that's for sure.

Now, we just have to wait for the trophy lift, which is just moments away.

Time to pop the champagne... I'm jealous.

'Special day for Manning'

Luke Power, Mail Sport:

This is a special day for Liam Manning but comes with a range of emotions. His baby son Theo died earlier this season and he had to take time away. To battle through his personal tragedy and lead Bristol to the play-offs is remarkable.
Ross McCrorie has played a big part, the full-back finding his scoring boots recently and striking twice today to seal a comeback which will give them confidence as they prepare for two legs against Sheffield United.
For Preston, a big summer awaits after their lowest finish since their return to the Championship. One win in their last 15 is shocking and they'll likely have to replace some big players. But for today at least, they breathe a sigh of relief.
13:34

'Hull fans going potty'

Hull have done it… just. Matt Crook’s the goalscorer is the first over to the away end, where the 2,000 or so supporters are going potty.
13:32

Pitch invasion at Ashton Gate

The Bristol City players celebrate as news filters through that Blackburn have drawn at Sheffield United.

For the first time in 17 years, the Robins are in the play-offs!

The fans leap over the hoardings and it's chaos on the Ashton Gate turf, the supporters flood it in celebration.

What a moment for the club, they have waited for this for a long, long time.

The last time they got to celebrate like this, I was only eight years old...

Tells you everything you need to know.

FULL-TIME: Sheffield United 1-1 Blackburn

It's devastation for Blackburn...

It just wasn't to be, and they come agonisngly close to the play-offs, but not close enough.
