Manchester United could be boosted by the return of five players for Sunday’s FA Cup quarter-final showdown with Liverpool at Old Trafford.
Rasmus Hojlund, Mason Mount, Harry Maguire, Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Tom Heaton are all in contention for the big game after training this week.
Top scorer Hojlund has been out for the last four games while Mount hasn’t played for a month.
Maguire last played in mid-February and Wan-Bissaka in mid-January, while goalkeeper Heaton makes a timely return on the bench in place of the injured Altay Bayindir.
Ten Hag is hopeful all five players will be available but is set to make a final decision after Saturday’s final training session.

‘We had a good week,’ said the United manager. ‘The players you mention returned on the pitch, partly at the start of the week and today they had a session and are all training.
'I think (they will be available). Tomorrow we have one session. We have to see how they recover from this but it looks good.
‘Tom Heaton is back as well, also it’s very good Mason Mount trained all week with us. He had some full sessions with us, so it's looking good.’
