UCLA coach blasts 'terrible' airline that flew them home from March Madness
College basketball coaches may have their preferred airlines, but it appears that one coach wants to try to avoid as much as possible.
An up-and-down season for the seven-seeded UCLA Bruins ended early on Saturday evening.
Up against a powerhouse second-seed Tennessee Volunteers team, UCLA just couldn't find a way to put themselves over and fell 67-58.
After the game, which ended incredibly late, Bruins coach Mick Cronin was asked about what could lie ahead of him for next season.
Cronin, who is known for having a bit of a shorter temper than most, wasn't in the mood for that question and ended up giving a parting shot to the airline taking them home.
'Right now guys, it's 12:40 am and our season just ended,' Cronin said, flippantly.

The seven-seed Bruins lost to two-seed Tennessee in the second round to end their season
'That's it. You're gonna ask me about next year? Right now my biggest concern is how bad the seats are on [our] Allegiant flight, on that terrible plane we're gonna have to fly home tomorrow.'
In his sixth season at the helm of the historic Bruins program, Cronin led UCLA to its fourth NCAA Tournament appearance.
Back in 2021, Cronin shocked the country by leading the 11-seed Bruins to a Final Four appearance - where they lost on a buzzer beater to one-seed Gonzaga.
This year, in the first game of the tournament for UCLA, they slaughtered the ten-seed Utah State Aggies by a score of 72-47.
But the same luck wasn't on their side in the second round - with the Volunteers keeping their distance throughout the game.
