- And Eubank Jnr subsequently walked away from the deal
Chris Eubank Jnr's promotional contract with Eddie Hearn is over almost before it began.
The middleweight stopped Spike O'Sullivan last weekend in what was a final eliminator for the WBA world title held by Daniel Jacobs.
But after Hearn failed to win purse bids for Eubank's prospective fight against British champion Nick Blackwell, the 26-year-old walked away.

Eubank's first fight of his three-bout deal with Hearn was a second-round blowout of Tony Jeter in October.
Chris Eubank Snr tweeted: 'Team Eubank are released from the Matchroom contract because Eddie lost the purse bid for the British title fight against Blackwell.'
Blackwell's promoter Mick Hennessy won the bid having been up against Hearn, who bid £205,000, and Frank Warren.
Eubank Jnr worked with Hennessy in the early part of his career during which he suffered his only defeat to date against Billy Joe Saunders.
Eubank Jnr celebrates his victory but has now walked away from his promotional deal with Eddie Hearn
