The No 1 Test batsman in the world had helped Australia recover from 12 for three and lead the fightback from the hosts in a 50-run partnership with Travis Head. Labuschagne had counterpunched effectively with some glorious boundaries, but the duo's eventual 71-run stand was brought to a sudden end with a bizarre dismissal for Australia's No 3. The Aussie batsman appeared keen to apply pressure from the first ball of Stuart Broad's ninth over of the innings. But he stepped too far across his stumps trying to work the ball into the legside and saw his middle stump removed as he slipped. Labuschagne then ended the comical dismissal by falling flat on his face as Broad let out a huge roar in celebration....read
