Car dealers enjoyed a successful second month of the year with new model sales growing by more than a quarter in February, figures published this morning show. Registrations of new vehicles rose by 26.2% year-on-year, with 74,441 motors entering Britain's roads last month almost on par with pre-pandemic performance. The figures are the latest evidence that manufacturers are able to produce more units with supply issues easing as February marks a seven month of consecutive growth in car sales. With demand for new diesels continuing to wane and demand for electrified models on the rise, the statistics show that almost one in four new cars last month had a plug....read
