Rob is currently in his second stint with Mail Sport after a loan spell in Spain followed by two years with Sports Illustrated. He has been producing sports news content since 2012 when he was a sports journalism student at Staffordshire University in Stoke-on-Trent. He graduated with first-class honours and also got to witness Peter Crouch scoring one of the most iconic goals in Premier League history - a goal so good it caused an elderly Potters fan to spit his false teeth into the back of Rob's neck. Rob is a Tottenham fan, despite being from Up North. He is also a keen tennis player with a hideous one-handed backhand.
