Britons would rather talk about sex than money, according to a new report which found that finance is our least favourite topic of conversation.
Just 22 per cent of us are happy discussing finances with family and friends, compared with 29 per cent who are comfortable talking about sex.
Sixty-one per cent are happy to discuss weight, 67 per cent can handle talking about political beliefs, and 46 per cent are OK with the subject of mental health.

Women are just as reluctant as men to talk about money, the study from Starling Bank found, but age made a difference.
Forty-two per cent of all 18- to 34-year-olds were happy with the subject, compared with just ten per cent of over-55s.
This could be because younger people are more likely to be in a similar financial position to peers.
