Romelu Lukaku netted a brace against Scotland on Tuesday night but he came under-fire on social media for failing to score from close range.
Kevin De Bruyne played the ball across to Lukaku and the Manchester United striker tried to flick it home.
However, the striker managed to hit the ball onto his other foot, failing to trouble David Marshall in the away goal.

Football fans quickly tweeted about his blunder after the £75million man's miss during Belgium's 3-0 win in their latest Euro 2020 qualifier.
Alessandro Molloy said 'It's like one leg wants him to score but the other doesn't' while another Twitter user wrote: 'Great piece of defending I'd say'.
The sarcastic responses came flooding in under videos of Lukaku's latest horror miss with another saying: 'What a clearance! Wait was he supposed to score?'
Lord Pidge said: 'It was harder to do that than score'.
Lukaku went on to silence some of his doubters by scoring either side of the half-time interval.
The Manchester United forward's record for his country is outstanding having netted 48 goals in 81 games.
He hinted after the game that he could be set for a summer move away from Old Trafford with Inter Milan and Napoli both keen on signing him.
Lukaku said: 'I have a contract with Man United. I'll speak with my club and my agent Federico Pastorello to make the best decision.
'I am going to enjoy my holidays with my family now. I know what I'll do, but won't say it. We'll see. If I expect a busy summer? Yes.'
