Norik Avdalyan stunned the opposing goalkeeper when he stepped up to take a penalty during his side's Under-21 clash at the weekend. 

Players' technique from 12 yards has been scrutinised over the years but Avdalyan's spot-kick has gone viral because of his sheer creativity.

The Rubin Kazan player ran up to take the penalty as usual but decided to perform an incredible back-flip after striking the ball from the spot.

Most players would lash the ball straight down the middle when in need of an equaliser but Avdalyan showed his confidence to perform the trick. 

Even one of his team-mates looked surprised at the technique he pulled off when striking the ball while others raced to celebrate with the youngster. 

The match between Rubin Kazan and Ural finished 1-1 with both sides failing to net a winner after the penalty.
