Manchester City's Danilo has admitted he is missing being at former club Real Madrid but is keen on 'turning the page' after starting a new chapter in England.
Pep Guardiola forked out £26.5million to bring the versatile defender to Manchester City but he is yet to hold down a permanent spot in the Spaniard's plans.
And Danilo appears to be having doubts over leaving the Santiago Bernabeu following his move away from the Spanish capital.
Danilo is missing Real Madrid but is happy to start a new chapter at Manchester City
Pep Guardiola signed Danilo from Manchester City in the summer for £26.5million
Danilo, speaking to Cadena SER, said: 'The truth is that I am missing Madrid.
'I spent two incredible years winning important things and people always treated me very well. But you have to turn the page.'
The 26-year-old Brazil international has made just nine appearances for the Premier League leaders since joining the club in June.
Danilo can play at right back and left back but has often been overlooked as Kyle Walker and Fabian Delph have been deployed ahead of him.
He did however start in Manchester City's Carabao Cup win over Wolves on Tuesday night.
Danilo played 103 minutes as the match went into extra time after a goalless draw.
Walker replaced him during the first half of extra time before City won a penalty shootout against the Championship side to seal a place in the quarter-finals.
