Ariana Grande sparks frantic rumors that Kylie Jenner and Timothee Chalamet are engaged
Ariana Grande has sparked rumors that Kylie Jenner and Timothee Chalamet are gearing up to get married after a fan became convinced that she asked the pair about their 'engagement' at the Golden Globes.
In a now-viral video taken from inside the star-studded ceremony on Sunday, Grande, 32, was seen greeting Jenner, 28, and Chalamet, 30, in the audience.
After the Thank U, Next songstress gave the makeup mogul a hug, she looked down at Jenner's hand before she animatedly started chatting with the couple.
And while it's unclear what exactly they were talking about as the clip was taken from too far away to hear them, one social media user has become convinced that Grande asked the pair if they were engaged.
An Instagram user who goes by the username @Wigconic.yt theorized that Grande had seen the eye-popping jewelry piece that Jenner wore on her pinky and mistook it for an engagement ring.
They attempted to read the pop star's lips and hypothesized that she then asked the duo: 'Oh my God, are you guys engaged?'
Jenner and Chalamet were seen awkwardly giggling afterwards.

The post went viral, sparking a debate in the comment section about what Grande said to the pair.
On Sunday evening, the reality star and actor put on a very loved-up display at the annual awards ceremony - where the latter scored a Best Actor win.
Afterwards, speculation that they had taken their relationship to the next level erupted online after a viral TikTok post alleged that Jenner's seating card read 'Kylie Jenner-Chalamet.'
However, many other social media users have since debunked the theory, claiming that it was faked.
The two stars did not hold back in showcasing their love throughout the event, and were often seen packing on the PDA.
They shared a number of kisses, while the Keeping Up With the Kardashians alum placed a gentle hand on the victor's lap prior to his Best Actor win for Marty Supreme.
The Kylie Cosmetics founder has been dating the leading man since early 2023, and the duo kept their romance as private as possible in the beginning.
However, they have been much more public in recent months, with Jenner standing fiercely by his side throughout the Marty Supreme press tour.

Chalamet publicly professed his love to the lip kit mogul during his acceptance speech at the Critics Choice Awards earlier this month, thanking his 'foundation' and partner of three years.
'Finally, thank you to my partner of three years, thank you for our foundation. I love you and couldn't do this without you,' Chalamet said at the event.
'I love you from the bottom of my heart,' he said, as she mouthed back, 'I love you.'
And in December, they made headlines when they sizzled in matching orange leather outfits by Chrome Hearts on the red carpet at the Marty Supreme premiere.
Before Chalamet, Jenner was formerly in an on-off romance with rapper Travis Scott, and the two share daughter Stormi and son Aire, who will respectively turn eight and four years old in February.
