Mom who had to leave concert early because she was so out of shape details incredible 150lb weight loss
A mom has revealed how she shed a whopping 150 pounds after she was forced to leave a Taylor Swift concert early because she was so out of shape.
Emily Murray, 32, from Rhode Island, had struggled with her weight 'for most of her life.'
But in her 20s after welcoming two kids and launching her own business, it reached an all time high.
'I had two kids in my 20s, and between pregnancy, postpartum life, losing my dad to cancer, building a business and the pandemic, my health was always the last thing on the list,' she explained during an exclusive chat with the Daily Mail.
'I wasn't intentionally active and food was my comfort, especially during stressful seasons.'
While she tried different diets and various exercise routines 'many times' over the years, nothing stuck or 'felt sustainable long-term.'
'I would start strong and lose momentum when life got busy, which left me feeling defeated,' she admitted.
By the time she she was nearing her 30th birthday she was out of breath easily, struggled to get up stairs and 'felt limited doing everyday things.'

'I also struggled to play with my kids the way I wanted to. I wanted to chase them, be on the floor with them and feel present, but my body often held me back,' she shared.
Murray was ecstatic when she snagged a ticket to Swift's coveted Eras Tour in 2023, but her excitement soon turned to fear as she wondered whether her body 'could handle' a three-and-a-half hour concert.
'I was very worried. Even the thought of walking from the parking lot to the stadium felt overwhelming, and I was anxious about whether my body could handle it,' she admitted.
Despite her fears, Murray was determined to see her favorite singer and attended the show.
However, about halfway through the concert, she developed a fierce pain in her legs and feet and decided to leave.
'I tried to push through, but I was in pain and physically overwhelmed. I ended up leaving early, which was heartbreaking,' said the mother-of-two.
'I've been a Taylor Swift fan for her entire career and had attended previous tours, so missing part of it felt like losing a once in a lifetime moment.'
It was the eye-opener that Murray needed, and ultimately pushed her to finally turn her life around after years of struggling with her weight.

'I realized how much my weight was limiting my life. It wasn't just about a concert. It was about missing experiences, memories and moments with my family that mattered deeply to me,' she explained.
'The concert was right around the time of my 30th birthday so everything kind of came to ahead at once.
'I saw my primary doctor to get bloodwork and a baseline for my weight and began right away.'
Murray knew she needed to start small. She began by making subtle changes like parking further away from stores and restaurants so she was forced to walk more and choosing the stairs instead of elevators.
She also focused on adding protein to her meals and drinking more water.
'I just tried to move more throughout the day,' she dished. 'When it came to food, I aimed for better choices without expecting perfection, knowing it wouldn't be linear. Those small changes added up over time.'
From those lifestyle swaps she ended up losing 30 pounds. She then decided to start taking a GLP-1 medication, and she now estimates that she has shed close to 150 pounds over two years.
'I feel like a different person. I can chase my kids, keep up with long wedding days, and move through life with ease,' she gushed. 'My husband... now struggles to keep up with me.
'Mentally, this journey started during the lowest point of my life. I had a beautiful family and a thriving business, but I felt like I might not be here long enough to enjoy it.
'That realization became the wake up call I needed, and today I feel hopeful about my future in a way I never did before.'

Murray has been documenting her weight loss journey online over the last two years and her story has gained her a legion of supporters, particularly, fellow Swifties.
And while she admitted that first opening up about it online 'was the most scared she had ever been in her life,' seeing the positive reaction from strangers has been immensely rewarding.
'Sharing felt like a way to hold myself accountable and possibly help someone else feel less alone,' she explained.
'My audience online, their support has kept me positive through the journey. I never expected the response, [but] seeing people connect [Swift's] lyrics to my story, lyrics I've personally related to for years, has been incredibly emotional and made me realize how connected we all really are.'
In the end, she said she hopes by being honest about her journey will inspire others to follow in her footsteps.
'Give yourself time and grace. It took years to get to where you are, and change doesn't happen overnight,' she concluded.
'At first, the goal can feel like a mountain that's too big to climb. Focusing on small milestones made it feel possible for me.'
