The House History

The first impression we got when we saw Baucis's house was of a run down abandoned mansion, away past it’s glory days.

It was built in 1915 for a rich political leader, and received aristocracy as well as personalities like Peron, Evita, Balbin and Frondizi. The political balance changed and it was turned into a family house, then an elderly residence, a single mother refuge, and finally an alternative theater and rock band stage.

After an intensive six month make-over Patricia and Mariano, turned Baucis into what it is now… a charming Design Boutique Hotel!
